Admission in Xavier International College

Xavier International College is a leading institution offering BSc Microbiology program under Tribhuvan University. Students who have secured minimum “C” grade in all subjects of 10+ 2 or equivalent exams can fill the form and should pass the B.Sc. level entrance examinations for admission. There will be 100 questions from each section of Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English at TU entrance examinations. To ensure admissions one should score more than 30% marks.

1. Mr. Rajesh Kumar Nepal
Mr. Rajesh Kumar Nepal is a highly knowledgeable and experienced Microbiologist who holds a Master's degree in Microbiology with a specialization in Medical Microbiology from the Central Department of Microbiology at TU. He has an impressive track record of work experience, having served as a Medical Microbiologist at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital, Patan Path Lab, and Godawori Mediciti Hospital.
Mr. Nepal's fields of interest are in the diagnosis of infectious diseases and research, and he has a number of notable research papers to his credit. Some of these include "Detection of AmpC Beta-lactamase in Gram Negative bacteria isolated from Cancer Patients, Microbial load analysis from paper and currencies in the Kathmandu Valley, Detection of MRSA among school children, Antibacterial activity of common spice extracts on bacterial isolates found in Kachhila, Antibacterial activity of honey, cinnamon, turmeric and their combine effect against acne inducing bacteria, Contamination and antibiotic susceptibility profile of bacterial isolates from the surface of cellphones, and Physical, chemical and microbial quality analysis of groundwater with respect to distance from septic tank."

2. Biraj Lohani
Mr. Biraj Lohani is a highly qualified and experienced Microbiologist with a Master's degree in Microbiology and a specialization in Medical Microbiology from the Central Department of Microbiology at TU. He has a wealth of experience in the field, having worked as the Coordinator of the Microbiology Department at Pinnacle College and as a Molecular Trainer at Annapurna Research Center in Maitighar.
Mr. Lohani's primary field of interest is molecular diagnosis of infectious diseases and research. He has published a notable research paper on "Predominance of CTX-M Type ESBL producers among clinical isolates of enterobacteriacea in a tertiary care hospital." This research highlights his expertise in the field and demonstrates his commitment to advancing the understanding of infectious diseases.
As a teacher, Mr. Lohani is known for his innovative and engaging teaching style, which fosters critical thinking and creativity among his students. 3. Rajan Karki
Mr. Rajan Karki is a well-respected M.sc Microbiology specialist in Medical Microbiology from Tribhuwan University. He has served as the Former Head of Department of Microbiology at Xavier International College and also worked as a lecturer at Shankharapur Polytech, Sankhu and as a microbiologist at Sushma Koirala Memorial Hospital. 
His areas of interest include clinical studies of bacteria and viruses. He has published several research papers including Antimicrobial resistance profile of Staphylococcus aureus, Bacteriological profile and antibiogram of the blood culture isolates in febrile children and a review on corona virus (Covid-19)
As a teacher, Mr. Karki is known for his dedication and enthusiasm for the subject. 4. Raju Kandel
Mr. Raju Kandel is an accomplished Physical Chemist with a Master's degree in Chemistry from Tribhuwan University. With over 7 years of experience in the field, Mr. Kandel has developed a strong reputation as an expert in his field.
Since 2014, Mr. Kandel has worked as a lecturer at several colleges including Pentagon International College, Trichandra College, and Uniglobe College. Throughout his career, Mr. Kandel has demonstrated a passion for teaching and learning, making him an effective and inspiring educator.

5. Sunil Mahato
